Procedura penale<\/i><\/strong> by Luciano Chailly and La smorfia<\/i><\/strong> by Bruno Bettinelli are two short comic operas in one act, conceived as a diptych and thus performed during the first representation at the Teatrino of Villa Olmo in Como, in 1959.<\/p>\n For the first time since the first performance, they are revived in their original form, in a new staging curated by the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale<\/strong> of Spoleto. The skillful, imaginative and surprising writing of composers Chailly and Bettinelli highlights the sophisticated and surreal comedy of their two librettists and celebrated writers: respectively Dino
