Liederabend | Teatro Lirico Sperimentale (Spoleto)

On Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 8:30 p.m., Spoleto’s Sala Pegasus will host Liederabend (Lieder Evening), an intimate and evocative performance that invites the audience to (re)discover a musical and poetic world of delicate nuances and subtle expressive intensity. Liederabend represents a privileged gateway to a poetic universe that, with grace, authenticity and sobriety, manages to touch the deepest chords of the soul.

This year Liederabend will focus on the German Lieder repertoire of the early 19th century, offering a selection of Lieder by Ludwig van Beethoven, Carl Maria von Weber, Carl Loewe, Fanny Mendelssohn, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Liszt and Clara Schumann.

On stage the soloists of the Sperimentale Viktoriia Balan, Eleonora Benetti, Beatrice Caterino, Lorena Cesaretti, Giorgia Costantino, Sara Di Santo, Kristýna Kůstková, Chiara Latini, Francesca Paoletti, Ariadna Vilardaga (sopranos), Emma Alessi Innocenti,
Francesca Lione (mezzo-sopranos), Andrea Ariano, Marco Guarini, Stepan Polishchuk (baritones) e Nicolò Lauteri (bass). Maestro Antonio Vicentini will be at the piano.
